Soap Manufacturer Business Plan

Soap Manufacturer Business Plan

SAFEassure, LLC, has created a new product to provide managers with an easy, affordable, and effective way to monitor hand washing among employees. Hand washing is the most effective way to prevent communicable disorders.

Improper hand washing contributes to more than 130,000 deaths in the U.S. each year through the transfer of communicable diseases in restaurants, day cares and hospitals (more than AIDS and breast cancer combined). Studies have shown that proper hand washing procedures in these environments could cut down the spread of disease by up to 75%. This problem stems in large part from the inability for supervisors to supervise employees’ hand washing. Existing products don’t offer cost-effective or affordable ways to enforce and maintain hand washing compliance. Treatment of preventable diseases costs Americans over $95 Billion in direct costs each year. (

SAFEassure, LLC was the first to solve this problem. It provides clear proof each time someone washes their hands. After washing occurs, the unique dye in our soap remains on the hands and fades to the skin’s natural color in under six minutes. Supervisors can see at a glance if hand washing took place, and this allows them to verify. The product offers a higher level of sanitation compliance than any other on the market. The product is safe and meets all current FDA regulatory requirements for soap.

The Market

Day cares are the best place to start our product. Hospitals and restaurants have a huge market for it. Day cares offer a unique market opportunity because they are interested in reducing disease transmission and have strong support from parents. As stated by Family Practice News, “Most day care centers are sophisticated little germ factories, exchanging bacteria and viruses with the shake of a hand or the sharing of a toy. And many of those nasty bugs travel home where they can infect the rest of the family.”

The Company

SAFEassure, LLC’s founding team is strong and the board of advisors are experienced. Jack Soap, the primary advisor, has over twenty years’ industry experience and established relationships in order to increase market penetration of our product line. SAFEassure, LLC is outsourcing the production of its soaps and other products to an established soap manufacturer. The team of executives will target the Portland Metro and the greater Northwest, using direct sales and existing distribution channels to penetrate this market. Initial capital will be used to patent, approve, produce, market, and support the operation of SAFEassure for the first year.

SAFEassure, LLC follows three clear strategies to achieve the growth we desire:

  • Take advantage of the first-mover advantages in a highly fragmented marketplace by creating a unique product.
  • Develop a strong branding campaign to build awareness, positive perception and sales of our products within our target markets.
  • Continue to develop new products in order to meet the needs of a wider range of customers.

Based on financial projections, SAFEassure, LLC needs $250,000 for start-up capital. But, the company will be generating positive cash flow by October, Year 1. By the end of Year 3 the company will be generating $850,000 in sales with sizeable net profit. SAFEassure, LLC is a company offering investors substantial growth potential, tempered by stability in revenue generation.

Our mission is to create value for customers and shareholders by continually improving health and reducing preventable illnesses through the use of our soap.
