Hatha Yoga, an ancient discipline, explores, develops and integrates the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is a systematic way to strengthen and stretch muscles all over the body. It also increases circulation to the internal organs and glands. It calms the nervous system and improves concentration. This ancient method of self-care promotes vitality, health and deep relaxation.
The style of Hatha Yoga taught is the Anusara method. Anusara Yoga is a new style of yoga that is heart-oriented, spiritually inspiring, yet grounded in a deep knowledge of optimal body alignment in the poses. Instructors encourage students not to judge their bodies but to listen to and respect them.
After the completion of each posture, deep relaxation can be taught in every class. The intention of the instructors at Garden Way Yoga Center (GWYC) is to assist students in the development of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being: a truly priceless health advantage.
The Garden Way Yoga Center offers eight eight-week sessions per year. There are workshops in related subjects and Anusara-style Hatha Yoga classes. The Yoga Center is home to highly-qualified, professional instructors. It also features a beautiful, brightly lit facility, encouraging and non-competitive teaching methods, as well as a variety of teaching methods.
The Garden Way Yoga Center has a boutique, where you will find yoga-training aides and workshop clothing.
